Sustainable Design

Having begun his career working on major Historic Preservation projects like South Street Seaport, and progressing on to life-cycle housing prototype design, James Nichols has been involved in aspects of sustainable design throughout his career. As a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004, he has applied sustainable design principles in all aspects of his practice, from residential renovation projects to feasibility studies for photovoltaic installations, and new building projects designed to conform to LEED principles.
